Local Burger in Keene

The food is super fresh and cooked to order. I had the Local Burger and fries and portions were large. The prices aren't as cheap as some other burger places but it is well worth the money. They serve beer, the staff is great and there is a small area for little ones with some books and a chalk wall. You can see from the photos it is very spacious and can accommodate small groups without a problem. Try it out, you wont be dissatisfied. Next time I want to try the Poutine and Chili cheese fries.

This place is awesome. Normally the vegetarian option at burger places is a frozen patty, but they make a mean veggie burger here! The fries are fire, too! I knocked off a star because though they do a wonderful veggie burger, there are still limited vegetarian options, so one time I asked for a grilled cheese (assuming they could make one with a burger bun) and they refused :-/ I get that it’s not on the menu, but I’ve seen them served there before so I was mildly offended. If they tossed another veg option on the menu, they’d definitely be 5 stars :)

I usually go to the Local Burger in Northampton MA, I must say the larger dining area at the Keene location was satisfying. The classic black and white checkers feels almost nostalgic. We ordered a child hotdog and the pulled pork sandwich. The 100% kosher dog was above my expectations, the fries were crispy. My pork sandwich had a nice tangy kick to it, just the way I like it (cant stand it when they're sweet) served with coleslaw, lettuce, tomato and pickle on top. Very filling, I will definitely order this again.The girl at the counter was very kind when taking our order. We paid, she notified us she would bring the food to us once it was finished. In the meantime she assisted other guests, bussed tables and cleaned throughout the restaurant! I didn't see her slack off, play on her phone once. Excellent customer service and food.

I've never met such friendly sweet waitresses/Waiters. They're very down-to-earth and easy to get along with. This place is good for families or groups of friends of all ages. Support local... Save the world! Oh and I see everything on the menu is the Juicy Lucy there's always fun and new options popping up from time to time. There is even a burger with egg on it but I really ended up enjoying!

Super good food. The chicken Tenders are off the chain and so are the shakes and burgers.

We were first time visitors at the Local Burger recently and I have to say, I am so impressed. They have a wonderful selection of juicy burgers cooked to your liking. We opted for a teriyaki burger, a chicken ceasar wrap and fries. All the food was cooked fresh and delivered right to our table (outside). We were able to order inside and all of the staff were taking great measures to stay safe. All of the tables inside cannot be used during this time, however, the restaurant is still handicap/ wheelchair accessible and they have restrooms for customers. Inside and outside were clean and the staff were so welcoming. I definitely recommend the Local Burger for anyone who loves great food!

First time in. Had an appointment in Keene and wife and I decided to stop in.... Glad we did. We both decided to grab a burger... Wife got the Local burger, I got the Southwest burger. Asked for a little pink and both burgers came out perfect. Good amount of toppings ( pickles were really good) and fresh buns. Large order of fries were just right..hot, crispy outsides and fluffy insides with little crunchy one mixed in. Couple of small drinks the bill was around $22... Can't beat that. Next time I want to try the chicken fingers and onion rings. Most certainly worth the stop.

Really good apps and okay "Local Burger". The onion rings and poutine were really good, and the burger was good as well, but the whole burger had an overpowering grilled taste above and beyond purely just being char-grilled. Everything else about it was fine though. Friendly staff as well.

Very tasty and juicy burger. The southwest chicken wrap was surprisingly good as well. Pull pork sandwich was okay. The sweet potato fries could be more crispy.

The restaurant was clean and tidy. The waitstaff are friendly and helpful. The food was tasty. I ordered the poutine appetizer and it was delicious. My burger was the Local Burger. The patties were cooked just the way I ordered them. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The whole sandwich was tasty and well made. I would definitely recommend this eatery.

The best burgers we've had in a long time! Onion rings and fries were amazing. Staff was lively and friendly. Good choice in music! Next time we are in Keene we will go again.

Fantastic burgers and also has really inventive menu items for a burger place. Prices are actually getting to a point where they are becoming competitive, but that's because everyone else keeps going up

A little on the pricier side, but the burger was very delicious. Onion Rings were not that great though

I absolutely love their fries!!! I ask for extra crispy and not often disappointed. I don’t ever eat the burgers but my husband has had his share of hits and misses. I always get their chicken tenders with a side of buffalo sauce. Tenders are pretty special and if you’ve had them you know what I’m saying. If you haven’t, well go and find out. I like the very simple, low stress atmosphere. Simple furniture, wide open dining area, simple colors used in art. Pleasant on the eyes, as long as the sun is not shining directly on your eyeballs. Yeah, no curtains. So you get creative. Staff is pleasant.

Horrible food I do t think the people in the back know how to cook when you ask for a burger cooked medium you get a burger that’s cooked well Well WELL done everything is soaked in oil and grease and to top it off I have gotten sick both the times I have gone there now me and my friend probably have food poisoning thanks a lotDONT GO HERE

Great place to stop by for a quick bite to eat and some killer beers. Burgers are great but what I usually go for is the chicken tenders dare I say best in the state I might just dare. Would highly recommend regardless of what you're in the mood for lunch or dinner does not matter you wont be disappointed. Outdoor seating is right on keenes lovely main street and really completes the vibe.

I ordered the fries and fried pickles along with a veggie burger. The fries were badly done, like it was mostly burnt ends. Don't get me started on the fried pickles, they were really bad, I dunno if the pickles themselves were bad quality or just the batter, I couldn't have more than 1 or 2 pieces. I go here because I wanna support local business otherwise I would have went to Five Guys

As a vegetarian I was pleasantly impressed by their homemade veggie burger. Plus their french fries are hand cut and delicious.

Great place to eat. Many meat options including vegetarian. I normally pay a buck extra and get the grass fed beef (super tender). The onion rings are especially good and they load fried with many different things including BBQ pork and chili. Seating outside available as well as inside. Highly recommend any time you simply want a good burger, fries and a milkshake.

They have amazing food, we went there for our 1 year anniversary and didnt regret. By the time we were ready to leave we kept our local burger soda original bottles as souvenirs and signed the chalkboard

Good, but $17 for a burger without the bun and a diet Pepsi is a bit high...and I also gave a tip even though you go to counter to order. No chips, fries, or pickle either. BUT the food was delish.

The spot is superb and roomy, the food was delicious and the rates were very inexpensive. rapidly, productive service and very welcoming waiters. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Definitely a great burger spot here in Keene. I ordered the burger special which was quite tasty. It had salsa, fried avocado, a South West hot sauce and it was cooked to perfection. The fries are equally delicious. The place was absolutely packed and there was a steady stream of people coming in (Saturday night).I felt really bad for the staff since they seemed like they were short staffed. One girl was taking orders at the front and bussing tables the same time. Two cooks in the back pumping out orders. One guy doing prep. Much respect for them 👊 and being able to knock out as many orders as they did.

Such good food! Wish they had a better beer selection but other than that very happy with this place

Yum yum yum! Great location and even better food! I come here often and I’m satisfied every time. Sometimes there is bands playing outside and I love watching them. I would definitely recommend this place!

So the service is absolutely horrible. I came in after the lunch rush, ordered my food and waited for 5 minutes before anyone else showed up. After 5 minutes people started showing up and my food was still not done. 25 minutes later and I am still waiting for my food, when different person returned my food. Anyway I walked out without food and I am sure I will never return back to this place.
